Digital Transformation

  • Customised SAP HANA MM Module as per the Business Requirement and migrated the Material Master from existing legacy systems to SAP by removing redundancies, thereby releasing blocked working capital of Rs 4Cr INR.
  • Revamped the critical spare parts assessment methodology through VED (Vital, Essential, Desirable) framework and implemented it through SAP, thereby reducing the manual workload.
  • Conceptualised Material Requirement Planning (MRP) through trend analysis of past material usage, reducing Procurement Transactions.
  • Process Blueprinting to implement the United Nations Standard Product & Service Code (UNSPSC) based Material & Service Codification Logic leading to Unified Central Repository.

Process Reengineering & Inventory Optimisation

  • Implemented Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), thereby reducing Inventory by sharing the risk and cost with Business Partners.
  • Accomplished Extended Warranty Contract (EWC) by opening up a dedicated service channel to the partner leading to a reduction in Procurement & Service Cost.

  • Implemented preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices of machinery at Cast House, thereby increasing the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
  • Conceptualized a design change of cutting machine pushing mechanism thereby reducing the processing time.
