Business Process Reeingineering

  • Increased capacity and productivity of Haul truck with ~4% by application of light weight and wear resistant graphene doped rubber liners (used on the truck body).
  • Conducted a successful trial with an organic additive in diesel to reduce emission and fuel consumption from mining fleet.

Digital Tranformation Management

  • Reduced overall material transportation cost by increasing tire life and reducing fuel consumption in heavy equipment by improving mine haul road condition.
  • Streamlined the data flow process from all six opencast mines of TSL to Jamshedpur to create insights on cycle time, production, and quality of material on monthly basis for internal benchmark.

Benchmarking

  • Created repository of internal & external benchmark for KPIs related to mining operation, equipment maintenance and productivity.
  • Identified new parameters such as load per bucket, number of buckets per full load & fuel consumption in each operation for enhanced visibility of performance trends of excavator and loader.
